Plexy is a wrapper made to replace the official cineplexx.at Frontend for myself when i want to checkout what current movies are available to watch in the local cineplexx theaters.

The motivation started after cineplexx redesigned their website and it became more complected for me to see which english (OV) movies are being played on my phone. The new design requires 4+ clicks to show the available English listings filtered. So after finding out that they have open API endpoints, i just made my own Frontend to show the listings.

I made a simple react app that renders the results from the Public API into a simpler format that i can use from my phone from anywhere.
